Hof lies at the intersection of the motorways A9 (Berlin 320km, Leipzig 150km, Munich 320 km, Nuremberg 120km, Frankfurt/Main 340km), A72 (Dresden 190km) and A93 (Regensburg 150km, Passau 300km). For traveling from Munich to Hof, the A93 is a viable option to the A9.

Hof railway station is centrally located and close to the festival theaters. Please book through to "Hof Hauptbahnhof". Information under www.deutsche-bahn.de

... BY PLANE
Nuremberg airport (120km to the south) and Leipzig airport (150km to the north) offer direct flights to many destinations and also train services to Hof. Flights to Hof/Plauen are no longer available. Information from all travel agents or under www.lufthansa.com
