Four Little Adults
Successful parliamentarian Juulia is married to priest Matias in a seemingly perfect marriage. However, when she finds out that Matias has been having a long-term affair with Enni, she suffers a nervous breakdown. In an attempt to save her marriage, Juulia welcomes Enni into their joint lives, and the three begin a polyamorous relationship.
Juulia takes a liking to the new rules and falls in love with young Miska, who seems to be the most mature in this love quartet. Although the relationships among the four are characterized by a lot of love, the construct remains a constant challenge, no matter how hard they try to make it work.

“FOUR LITTLE ADULTS looks at love from the point of view of four imperfect, but disarmingly open people who want to break the strained norms of monogamy while yearning for a sense of security. They navigate between their own needs and those of others as best they can. But how do you measure the fairness of a decision when everyone experiences things in their own way? Love and empathy, in my opinion, are not easy issues, but very complex and urgent ones. If humanity is to survive [...], we have to come together and address these issues together. This means that we have to learn to compromise, to change perspectives and to really respect a person who is completely different. [...] I would like to challenge myself and my audience to find tension and conflict in characters who at least try to cultivate kindness, even if they don’t always succeed.”
