The film begins in the middle of the forest, where a man and a woman, both around 50, meet to look for the place where they buried something a very long time ago. The two have not met for many years. Now, just as they once did as children, they search for a secret, going astray. A deeply buried trauma comes to light.

"I AM HERE!" tells the story of a person who suffers from a traumatic experience from his childhood. His life, thus far, resembles an endless odyssey. Finally, he accepts his uprooted existence and emigrates, hoping to find a new home elsewhere.
The story of this person is a very current phenomenon. Never before in the history of mankind has the scale of migration been comparable to that of the present day. The most frequent reason is a traumatic experience combined with the hope of a sense of arrival somewhere, someday.
