In three distinct narratives, we observe a young woman grappling with the present. Each of them experiences a different incident of loss.
The first plans her mother’s funeral, the second deals with her brother and their father's death, and the third tries to settle into a new life. While the protagonists deliberate over choices like what to wear at the cremation, how to address their brother after years of silence, or what technique to use to cut up spare ribs, they navigate through their worlds with a blend of humor and solemnity.
And again and again, the question arises whether pain is divisible.
