Safe
Young Karl has decided to go to the front as a volunteer fighter for freedom and democracy. In a few hours, his train will be heading for the border. Until the end, his mother Lisa fights like a lioness to stop her beloved son from going.
But in the end, all her efforts fail to persuade determined Karl. Her attempts and arguments only seem to encourage him to go to Ukraine—whatever the consequences. Both face a painful farewell.
