The Art of Friends - Business UNusual
A 4th generation brewery changes its tradition from classic brewing to an “experienceable” street art location. Not an easy thing to do in Bayreuth, Bavaria, where art has always been synonymous with WagnerÄs classical music. The “scene” is involved, too, and is allowed to actively participate in decision-making and design.
For the internationally known artists, this is a new arena between street and museum which they gratefully accept. A wonderful story of development that does not make use of art but supports it and can thus be a win-win situation for both sides – the arts and the crafts.

Born in 1983 in Aalen. Studied Mechatronics Engineering. Worked as a sports photographer. Studied Digital Filmmaking and VFX at a Munich film school. Active as a director and photographer.

“At first, I was skeptical about the whole concept – as were some of the invited artists –, since it initially sounded like a corporate idea. Talking with all the people involved in the project, however, it turned out to be quite the opposite, and the way all the arts and crafts came together in such a free way, without limitations – also in creating the film – was an amazing experience and turned out to be something special and unique. A work of art in itself, so to speak.”
