Planet Rebels Award – be inspired to unf**ck the future
The PLANET REBELS AWARD honors a full length documentary or feature film presented at the Hof International Film Festival that use powerful imagery, unconventional storytelling and emotional impact to rethink ecological issues – radical, hopeful and relevant. The assessment also evaluate how boldly and innovatively sustainability is integrated into the production process
The prize is endowed with €5,000 and is awarded equally to the director and the production. The recipient is selected by an independent jury.

For the PLANET REBELS AWARD full length feature films and documentary films from the program of the International Hofer Film Days are nominated.
The jury evaluates artistic quality, narrative strength, and the film’s engagement with ecological sustainability and future-related issues.
Sustainable production practices are considered as an additional evaluation criterion. Relevant information on production practices will only be requested after a film has been selected for the program of the Hof International Film Festival.
