Two Golden Globe Nominations for JOJO RABBIT by Taika Waititi

Monumental: already enthusiastically received at the German premiere during the 53rd Hof International Film Festival, we are happy to announce two Golden Globe nominations for JOJO RABBIT by Taika Waititi:

Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy
Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy: Roman Griffin Davis

In addition, last week the American Film Institute (AFI) named JOJO RABBIT one of the ten most important films of 2019. The film has been nominated five times for the Hollywood Critics Association Awards 2020 (HCA Awards), including in the categories Best Film, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. At the Toronto International Film Festival 2019, JOJO RABBIT received the People's Choice Award.

The satire about the Second World War follows the lonely German boy Jojo, whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers that his single mother is hiding a Jewish girl in her attic. Supported only by his idiotic, imaginary friend Adolf Hitler, Jojo has to face his blind nationalism.

JOJO RABBIT will be in German cinemas from Thursday, 23 January 2020 …
