With full power and empathy, Max Fey's ZWISCHEN UNS draws an extraordinary mother-son portrait. Eva (Liv Lisa Fries) and her 13-year-old autistic son Felix (Jona Eisenblätter) are a well-coordinated team. Every day Eva fights with full determination to offer Felix stability and normality in everyday life. She gets support from her neighbor Pelle (Thure Lindhart), who has fallen in love with Eva. But Eva increasingly reaches the limits of what is possible. A film about love, letting go and new beginnings.
