On Sunday, 26 March 2023 at 5:00 pm, directors Regina Wiebe and Johanna Reimann will present their documentary FIVE FINGERS NO SAME (54th Hof International Film Festival) at the Subbotnik in Chemnitz:
The film tells the stories of a group of young people from Pakistan and Morocco who left their homeland with the European dream in mind. Stuck between hope and lethargy, each in his own way for the moment in Bosnia.
"Five fingers on each hand and yet not the same," say the two filmmakers. It's about people as individuals who don't want to be pigeonholed with everyone else. This is not a given.
Co-director Regina Wiebe presents FIVE FINGERS NO SAME at the 54th Hof International Film Festival.
The film is both disturbing and frighteningly topical, and the directors Reimann and Wiebe will discuss it with the audience on site. Admission is free!
