The Pharos Shiver Screen Award is presented to a film from the genres of thriller, horror, action, science fiction, and so on, and is endowed with 2,500 euros. It is internationally focused and goes to a short film or a first or second feature film. The prize is supplemented by mentoring with an option for world distribution rights through The Playmaker Munich.
