In a mountain village, a stone falls from the sky. Two friends set out to find it. While walking, they talk, laugh, discuss, remember a deceased friend, and meet other seekers. On the way, they read and listen to poetry and feel poetry in the wind – from sunrise to sunset. Farewells occur, one or more, but also encounters and promises.
A film about friendship, wintry landscapes, and something as useless and at the same time as valuable as poetry.

“In times as complex as the ones we live in, I had to make a film about emotional bonds and farewells. A film in winter. A small story in which the extraordinary breaks into an ordinary day. A daily walk that may be the last. I wanted to depict the path of these characters in the course of a day—their small inner changes, fragilities, joys, and emotions. I had to work with poetry, infuse poetry, and read poetry. Combining poetry with landscape. To make a quiet film where nothing serious happens—a kind of protection from the elements. To wander as a duo through these dry spaces. Those who like this film rediscover the power of their company.”
