Johanna has one weakness: she is a dreamer. Her greatest wish: an apartment to live in and feel well in. And she’s actually found it already, if it weren’t for her landlady, Mrs. Schrankinger, real estate agent Mario – who is actually a shipowner – and lawyer Dr. Winter. They make Johanna’s life a living hell. Will she manage to turn the tide?

For many people, nice, affordable housing has become a pipe dream. But Johanna has one strength: she is a dreamer.

In the back of the office. Showering and shaving every morning in the fitness center. But beware: (unfortunately) no Spitzweg-poor-artist-in-the-attic-romanticism, but (also ‘unfortunately’) rather the absurd bloom of our neoliberal times, a misunderstood gentrification, a persistent concrete gold rush and a hugely inflated real estate bubble.
