In a world where humanity is mining moon rock as an energy resource, the Moon is getting closer to Earth and sooner or later threatens to collide with it. As part of the organization “Moonrise,” which she co-founded, activist Amae leads a global campaign against the mining of moon rock. With all her strength and conviction, she stands against the involved governments and the supranational energy corporation Lunera Energy—but the case fails, and Amae’s previously stable world collapses under the weight of her emerging hopelessness. As a result, she has to struggle to find a new perspective on her fears and her future in order to regain hope for herself and her daughter Kayo.
