Seagulls

Refugees and displaced persons from almost all over the world find refuge in Berlin. Their stories are often told—too often in public discourse about them, however, and seldom by themselves. We are tired of images of misery and cruelty. Wrought up by the continuing flood of images on social media, we are jaded and don’t realize how serious the situation really is.

Flight is a condition. Vanya has fled from the war and is trying to grasp the reality surrounding him.
