The Last Bet
The elderly couple, Ernst and Leni, regularly bet on the last piece of chocolate. They bet on who among them will die first. Both want to die before the other partner, each for their own reasons. With dark humor and unsentimental directness, yet with a big heart, they both show that they don’t want to be without each other.
