Olga, a 60-year-old nurse, is preparing to say goodbye to her only son, who is about to leave the country, when she meets Stefano, a young French tourist. “In the last few years, I realized I wanted to work on things that really excite me, to follow my passion. Of course, that’s not always easy. Desire isn’t simple to pin down; it can feel blurry and hard to grasp. When I started writing the script, memories of El Mollar in Tucumán came back to me. That’s where my grandmother built her house. I had always wanted to make a film in that town, in that green valley surrounded by arid land, the place where she lived. I’ll always admire her, not only for her kindness but especially for her strength.”
