59th Hof International Film Festival
The 59th Hof International Film Festival will take place from October 21 to October 26, 2025 in Hof. In addition, a large number of the films will be available online after the festival premiere in cinemas via our HoF On-Demand platform "plus7streamdays" until November 02.

Prerequisite
- Films must have at least a German premiere at the festival.
- Films may not be screened in public in Germany until the end of the festival.
- Films will be screened both on-site in Hof (21 to 26 October 2025) and on our VOD platform (from its premiere to 2 November 2025).
Format
- All lengths and genres will be accepted.
- Films up to 49 minutes will be categorized as short films.
- Films must be available in DCP format for the festival.
Deadlines & Limits
- The official submission period ends on 8 August 2025.
- A maximum of 5 entries per submitter will be considered.
- We do not charge submission fees.

Accreditation for the 59th Hof International Film Festival will be possible from the beginning of September 2025. Further information will be available here as soon as available.
