A woman visits her mother, as she does every week. Their relationship is in a state of turmoil and they do not enjoy each other’s company. The mother has come to the conclusion that they have an unhealthy relationship and the best course of action would be to stop seeing each other. The daughter does not understand her mother’s decision. We witness the final conversation between the two women.

“Can you break up with your daughter, your own flesh and blood? That is the question ENOUGH (NOK) wants to address.
This seemingly long conversation between mother and daughter has a simplicity that fascinated me. I wanted to develop an expression, a style, that captured a sense of reservation, thereby maintaining a form that aligns with this.
I found that Per's script possessed a remarkable subtlety, wisdom and empathy toward this family crisis that is positioned, intriguingly, between the painful and difficult, and most of the time with a thin layer of dark humor; with moments where we can sense a kind of goodness and love between them. This contrasts with the heart-breaking decision from the mother.”
