Together Apart.
Sophie and Jojo have been separated for six months but still live together like a couple. Only when Sophie's parents—who are unaware of the breakup—make their continued financial support conditional on her having a child with Jojo does movement come into the stagnant lives of the two millennials.

Born in 1992 in Frankfurt am Main. Studied Film and Audiovisual Journalism at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and Creative Producing at the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln. Worked as a freelance filmmaker for commercials and image films. Active as a filmmaker and photographer.

“Letting go is hard – whether it’s a job, an ideal, or a person you thought was the ‘right one.’ TOGETHER APART is an autobiographically inspired feel-good comedy about a breakup, telling the story of two millennials who must realize that sometimes letting go is the only way to move forward in life.
Without any funding or broadcaster involvement, but with even more passion, we shot the film last year in 28 shooting days – on our second attempt – with a crew of only four people. Releasing this very personal film into the world now also feels like letting go – in the best possible way.”
