HoF Rendezvous in the Lodderbast: Max Gleschinski will join us to present KAHLSCHLAG

On 29 May 2019 within the framework of the HoF Rendezvous, the filmmaker Max Gleschinski is coming to the Hanover » Lodderbast to present his film KAHLSCHLAG, for which he won the German Cinema New Talent Award for Best Film during the Hof International Film Festival.

Eric and Martin are best friends and are both in love with the same woman. What is intended to be a fishing trip to talk through the situation becomes a journey into the heart of darkness…

The Hof International Film Festival and Lodderbast, the world’s smallest cinema, are joining forces. Since April 2019, the arthouse cinema in Hanover has become a regular Rendezvous partner. HoF artistic director Thorsten Schaumann and the filmmakers present their works in person. The Lodderbast arthouse cinema was opened in January 2018 by Wiebke and Johannes Thomsen and with its 20 seats in 39 square meters is the smallest cinema in the world. Six days a week the film theater presents a monthly curated program including premieres, indies, genre films, experimental cinema and film classics.
