Premiere: HoF Rendezvous – Let’s do it for the first time at the Hof University of Applied Sciences with #WIDERSTAND and Britta Schoening

#oF Next presents #WIDERSTAND at the Schiller-Gymnasium Hof too

Apremiere, because for the first time the Home of Films Rendezvous takes place at the University of Applied Sciences. We will present #WIDERSTAND in the presence of the director Britta Schoening (GRANIT – Hof Documentary Film Award 2018: Special Mention).

Helene, 19, lives in solidarity with 400 refugees in the squatted Hotel City Plaza in Athens and wants to send a signal against the border closures in Europe. Ingrid, 23, is a follower of the new right-wing Identitarian Movement in Vienna, which propagates against “mass immigration and Islamization”. Aicha, 18, is a Muslim poetry slammer at the association “i,Slam” and in her texts she confronts the discrimination that is part of her everyday life in her hometown Berlin. All three women are searching for identity and belonging and find them in different extremes.
