HoF Rendezvous THE COLOR OF A CHAMELEON by Jürgen Klaubetz online

On Saturday, 12. December 2020 at 7:00 pm it's time again: at the HoF Rendezvous in the virtual Central Kino Hof, Jürgen Klaubetz's THE COLOR OF A CHAMELEON will be shown via Kino on Demand. Admission is free. But anyone is welcome to buy a donation ticket. All proceeds go directly to the filmmaker.

THE COLOR OF A CHAMELEON celebrated its world premiere at the last Hof International Film Festival. Now we are looking forward to seeing Paul again on Saturday: Paul seeks happiness in other people’s bags. In the beginning he searches in the belongings of his dead friend, but soon he steals new things from other people, delving into their lives and changing them radically. A victory of ease and release of non-functioning concepts of life about rage and grief.

Since 2017 the Hof International Film Festival has been organizing the HoF Rendezvous with the motto “let’s do it again” at the Central Kino in Hof and at the Lodderbast cinema in Hanover. We present these screenings throughout the year within the framework of the Hof International Film Festival. The filmmakers present their films personally. In this manner, we hope to help the festival have a lasting effect and increase the anticipation for the next festival. At the same time, the filmmakers are promoted once again through our communication. During the time when the cinemas are closed, the HoF Rendezvous take place in the virtual Central Kino online with the support of the Rotary Club Hof and at THE COLOR OF A CHAMELEON screening for the first time from Kino on Demand.

The HoF Talk Rendezvous is our new virtual, 45-minute talk format, which takes place in addition to the HoF Rendezvous. Every two weeks the artistic director of the Hof International Film Festival talks to guests about the festival. The central element here is interaction. A chat function allows the audience to participate actively in the conversation.
