LOVE BETWEEN THE WALLS on ARTE

What happens when the children of former class enemies fall in LOVE BETWEEN THE WALLS with each other in 1990 in the middle of nowhere? The feature film with the same title by Florian Aigner, which premiered at the Hof International Film Festival 2019, tells the story of Katja (16) from West Berlin and Thorben (17) from Kleinmachnow in the GDR. Their love is not under a good star, because the motto issued by the government “restitution before compensation” leads to a war between their families.

On 2 June 2021 LOVE BETWEEN THE WALLS will be aired on ARTE at 8:15 pm and can be viewed in the media library until 1 July 2021.
