From Thursday, 28 April 2022, Johannes Suhm's THE MAN WHO ATE THE WORLD (54th Hof International Film Festival) opens in German cinemas. The film adaptation of the internationally successful play is about a careerist in the middle of his life. He is irresponsible, aggressive, greedy and narcissistic. He turns his back on his family, quits his job, all he wants from his best friend is money and he keeps his sick brother at a distance. When his father, who suffers from dementia, unexpectedly shows up at his house, the situation threatens to escalate.
A real indie film whose wave ride carries you away. Talk about the film at STRAUSS-TALK and at HoF RENDEZVOUS.
