Joan of Arc is resolute, combative, and self-sacrificing. But she is not a holy virgin. She is a witch. It is not the Mother of God who speaks to her, but the moon that gives her the mission to bring peace to the Isle of the Dead, where war has reigned for a thousand years. But how far will Johanna go for her mission? What sacrifice is peace worth? And what happens to a witch when no one benefits from her anymore?
