Diagonale 2024: Congratulations to Günter Schwaiger and Julia Mitterlehner

    Franz Grabner Preis 2024 für WER HAT ANGST VOR BRAUNAU?

    At the 27th Diagonale 2024 in Graz, the Franz Grabner Prize in the "Cinema Documentary" category was awarded to WHO IS AFRAID OF HITLER'S TOWN? (57th Hof International Film Festival 2023 / HOF IFF) by Günter Schwaiger and Julia Mitterlehner.

    "...A film that takes a very personal look at what home actually looks like. It is a study of the milieu of a special place, lets many people have their say, shows observations that sometimes seem like real satire."

    After THE WAY YOU SHINE  by Evelyne Faye, a documentary film was shown at the HOF IFF for the second year in a row and was awarded this prize at the following Diagonale. We congratulate Günter Schwaiger, producer Julia Mitterlehner and the entire team on this important award!
