HOUSE OF SILENCE in the Werkstattkino Munich with Talk

On Monday, 6 May 2024 there will be a very special meeting. At 5.30 pm, filmmaker Simone Geißler will be at the Werkstattkino Munich / Germany to present her indie project, the psychological thriller HOUSE OF SILENCE (57th Hof International Film Festival 2023). The audience discussion will be moderated by Thorsten Schaumann, Artistic Director of the Hof International Film Festival.

The film tells the story of successful author Sorel Malkow (Simone Geißler), who retreats to the Lüneburg Heath to write her new novel, which is based on autobiographical, traumatic experiences, in a secluded estate. The more the novel develops, the stranger and unsettling the events become. And it soon it is clear that she is being stalked by a man who seems to know her memories inside out and is driving Sorel to the edge of her physical and psychological limits.
