Following the launch of the first CSD in Hof this year marks the second edition. And once again, the Hof International Film Festival (HoF IFF) will be taking part, presenting films from the last festival edition.
On 18 May 2025 at 7 PM, the Central Kino Hof will screen the short film ÜBERMORGEN – DECISION TO LEAVE by Annie Krause and the feature film HABIBi – CHANSONS POUR MES AMI·E·S by Florent Gouëlou.
On 19 May 2025 at 7 PM, also at Central Kino Hof, the short film NEXT DOOR by Lukas März and the feature film TRANS MEMORIA by director Victoria Verseau will be shown.
Both screenings will be hosted by Fabian Riemen from the moderation team. After the screenings, there will be space and time for discussion. On 19 May 2025, director Lukas März will be present in person.
The Colorful Week is initiated by Queerlife Hof e.V. and supported within the federal program “Demokratie leben!” by the Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. Since 2015, the city has participated in the program as a local partnership for democracy. The IHF’s contribution is also funded by this program.
