The Hof International Film Festival celebrate its 60th anniversary — from October 20 to 25 in Hof, and online until November 1, 2026.
This year’s festival artwork features a person wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the number 60, an analogue camera in hand. Their patterned jacket tells the story of six decades of the festival: people in cinema, soccer, embraces, Bratwurst, a pink flamingo — and so much more waiting to be discovered. In their face, a universe sparkles, opening out endlessly into the sky.
At the core of the 60th Hof International Film Festival is cinema. But the festival is more than a place to watch films. It is a space for encounters, ideas and emotions. Perspectives come together. Conversations begin. Memories are made. And tomorrow takes shape.
Every moment leaves a spark — within us and in the people we meet. From countless individual stories emerges a festival that remains intimate, human and unmistakably unique. Its sparks continue to glow long after the final images have faded.
The poster is an illustrated story by artist Sebastian Stamm.
Cinema is life. You are the story we make sparkle together - even brighter for our 60th anniversary.
