Born in 1942 as Holger Mischwitzky in Riga/Latvia. Studied Painting at the Berlin University of the Arts. Worked as an instructor. Active as a director, producer, writer, and painter.

“The film is about a dominatrix who has practiced her profession in the apartment building where I have been living for 30 years. I always sent my students there and said, ‘You will have to suffer a lot as directors, but try to suffer with pleasure.’ And then they had to write in my apartment with all that emotionality. Students with a high school diploma generally lack feeling, since they are educated purely scientifically. I always have to teach them what feeling is. Because film is not thoughts in images, but feeling in images.”
