“Run of the Place in Hausen” is the theme of this year’s one-week seminar that seven women are hoping to experience in an idyllic farmhouse. Life at its best instead of boring routines. And indeed, it does seem as if the women were able to rediscover themselves here. But what happens when different generations and lifestyles collide unfiltered?
The seminar turns everything upside down and makes one thing very clear: When we encounter other people, we always encounter ourselves, as well.

Wtp-Kollektiv
The wtp-kollektiv has been in existence since 1999 and is a group of artists who see filmmaking as a creative adventure. After the death of director Roland Reber in 2022, the collective decided to collaboratively take on directing feature films as well.

“This film was created with collective directing, meaning all actors and actresses designed their roles, costumes, and makeup on set, and we developed the scenes together.”
“For me, it was wonderful. Discussing the characters’ actions and the tragicomedy of situations over coffee, while always keeping the story at the forefront.” (Helena Sattler)
“I had the feeling that, as artists, our work approaches were very similar or compatible. This allowed collective directing.” (Amelie Köder)
“I truly believe we succeeded in transferring the core idea of the ‘Run of the place’ seminar—namely, to create it jointly—into the film.” (Antje Nikola Mönning)
“For me, it worked, because the story always took precedence.” (Mira Gittner)
