After losing her daughter to ISIS, Silvi travels to Iraqi Kurdistan to meet her grandson Ishaq, who lives in an orphanage. Despite cultural barriers and the burden of shared trauma, she fights, step by step, to build a connection with him. But as Silvi’s return journey to Germany approaches, she must make a momentous decision.
