In the 1950s, Valentino and his best friend became the first Italians to bike around the globe—a life-changing adventure. Decades after his passing, his family uncovers hundreds of photos and memories, offering a vivid glimpse into a long-gone world. Through the photos, we embark with them on a journey of friendship, adventure and boundless curiosity. The journey by bicycle embodied freedom: fast enough to explore new things and slow enough to reflect on it all.

Bernadette Weber
Born in 1987 in Graz/Austria. Trained in Cinematography at the ZeLIG School for Documentary, Television and New Media in Bozen/Italy. Earned a Master’s degree in Philosophy and a doctorate in Ethics and Political Philosophy. Active as a director, editor, producer, and video journalist in the field of documentary film, and in cinematography and lighting departments.
