HoF 2020: Producer Katharina Rinderle and co-director Tina Freitag present CICERO.
Concert with musicians of Roger Cicero's former band

Tina Freitag's and Kai Wessel's CICERO - ZWEI LEBEN, EINE BÜHNE (writer, creator, producer Katharina Rinderle – 54th Hof International Hof Film Festival) opens in theaters on Thursday, 24 March 2022, distributed by Weltkino.

Eugen and Roger Cicero were father and son, but above all they were extraordinary artists. While Eugen achieved fame as a piano virtuoso in the 1960s and performed with star singers such as Ella Fitzgerald and Shirley Bassey, Roger filled huge concert halls years later as one of Germany's most gifted singers. Their life stories are inextricably interwoven and show fascinating parallels - genius paired with an unparalleled passion, the overcoming of boundaries, the balancing act between commercial success and artistic integrity, and finally the tragic outcome that shakes the music world to this day.
