The Bolzano Film Festival starts on Friday, 12 April 2024 and runs until Sunday, 21 April 2024. To mark the tenth anniversary of his death, a tribute has been dedicated to the wonderful Karl "Baumi" Baumgartner, who has always been an integral part of the Hof International Film Festival (HOF IFF).
Among others, Jim Jarmusch's STRANGER THAN PARADISE will be screened, which was shown for the first time in Germany in Hof in 1982 as a short film and 1984 as a full-length film. The music film NICO by Susanna Nicchiarelli (51st HOF IFF) will also be screened in Bolzano.
The Lichter Filmfest Frankfurt International (Tuesday, 16 April to Sunday, 21 April 2024) will continue with the homage to "Baumi" Baumgartner.
