Filmfest Bremen with Thorsten Schaumann in the jury

The 9th Filmfest Bremen will take place from Wednesday, 10 April 2024 to Sunday, 14 April 2024. The audience can look forward to great cinema, talks and industry meetings.

It will also be exciting for the Artistic Director of the Hof International Film Festival. Thorsten Schaumann is part of the "International Competition Innovation" jury. This section is all about unusual and surprising narrative styles, the skillful use of technology, creative, sometimes unconventional image design and themes that open up new worlds. Across all genre and format boundaries, the films in this section seek artistic, technical and narrative experimentation and surprise their audiences.
