Multifaceted and fascinating: QRT: SIGN, ZOMBIE, TEQNO – A NECROLOGUE in cinemas

On Thursday, 12 June 2025, Manuel Stettner's documentary QRT: SIGN, ZOMBIE, TEQNO – A NECROLOGUE (58th Hof International Film Festival /HoF IFF – distributed by Partisan Filmverleih) will premiere in German cinemas and go on tour. On Friday, 20 June 2025, at 5:00 PM, Stettner will be at Werkstattkino Munich. The audience discussion will be moderated by Thorsten Schaumann, HIFF’s artistic director.

The experimental documentary portrays the artist QRT, also known as Konradin Leiner, who was a significant figure in the vibrant Berlin art scene until his tragic drug-related death in 1996. Former companions and excerpts from QRT's texts create an anecdotal biography.
