The documentary THE UNSPOKEN, winner of the Granit – Hofer Documentary Film Award 2025, directed by Patricia Hector and Lothar Herzog (distributed by imFilm Agentur+Verleih), will be screened on Wednesday, January 14, 2025, at 7:00 pm at the Astor Film Lounge at ARRI Munich (tickets here).
Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with the directors, moderated by Thorsten Schaumann, Artistic Director of the International Hofer Film Festival.
The film explores why, in Germany, so many people remained silent after 1945, and reflects on memory, repression, and family history. A time journey whose relevance feels unmistakably current.
