HoF Filmtage Rendezvous mit LUISA im KoKi Hannover

On Thursday, 15 January 2025, at 8:00 pm, the Hof Filmtage Rendezvous comes to KoKi Hannover with a preview of LUISA (released by Realfiction), directed by Julia Roesler receiving the German Cinema New Talent Award at the 59th Hof International Film Festival 2025 (HIFF). Guests of the evening include the film’s writer and producer Silke Merzhäuser (werkgruppe2) as well as Thorsten Schaumann, HIFF’s Artistic Director. 

When an unexplained pregnancy is discovered in Luisa, who lives in a residential care facility for people with disabilities, suspicions of sexual abuse and the ensuing police investigation trigger a profound crisis for her, her partner Anton, and the entire care system.
