Film Meets Diversity: The Hof International Film Festival at CSD Hof

Hier war ich noch nie - Still 5

On May 30, 2026, Christopher Street Day (CSD) will take place in Hof for the third time. Once again, this day of action aims to demonstrate that queer life is an integral and natural part of society—in smaller towns and rural regions just as much as in major cities.

The Hof Internation Film Festival (HIFF) is also once again participating in the CSD’s accompanying program. On May 28 at 5:00 PM, the feature film I HAVE NEVER BEEN HEER by Tor Iben will be screened at the Central Kino. The film was part of the festival’s most recent edition and offers a poignant exploration of identity, sexuality, and heritage.

Following the screening, a Q&A session with filmmaker Tor Iben will take place. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the film’s background and production process, as well as to engage in conversation together. The event will be moderated by journalist and IHF colleague Alina Juravel.
