You can get your tickets for the on site screenings in the cinema and for HoF On-Demand on our film and ticket portal. You can reach it via our website.
Here you can also book tickets for several people. It should again be possible to choose free seats in the cinema, as long as there are not short-term pandemic-related restrictions. Since the films have not yet been released by the FSK, all screenings are rated for ages 18 and up.
Both cinema and on-demand tickets require registration with an email address.

Since the films have not yet been approved by the FSK, all screenings are released from the age of 18.
Reduced ticket price
The reduced ticket price applies to pupils, students and people with disabilities on presentation of appropriate proof (pupil ID, student ID or disability ID). Proof must be presented both when purchasing tickets on site at the container and when entering the cinema.
Accompanying persons of people with disabilities who are dependent on support will receive a free ticket when purchasing tickets at the container, provided there are still seats available. Our support team will be happy to reserve the tickets you require. Please call us one day before collection. Unfortunately, it is not possible to issue the free ticket retrospectively or to purchase it via the online shop.

It is advisable to book all cinema tickets online. For those who cannot buy online, cinema tickets are also available at the ticket container in the Hof city center.

Accompanying the cinema screenings, a large part of the festival films will be available online at HoF On-Demand until Sunday, 3 November 2024.
As in the cinema, the films are offered in the form of screenings. With a ticket you can usually watch a short film and a feature film. With the Short Film Pass you have access to all short films.
The films can be viewed as paid individual access after the premiere in the cinema. A movie on HoF On-Demand is available for 48 hours after retrieving the movie. The use of HoF On-Demand is only possible from Germany. Depending on the film, there may be maximum limits for the maximum number of individual views as well as for the period available online. Some films are not approved for online retrieval by the German Federal Film Board (FFA).
