Julian Pawelzik
Julian Pawelzik was born in 1990 in Wuppertal, Germany. He studied for a Master's degree in Feature Film Directing at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. Prior to that, he completed his diploma in media arts in 2019 with the medium-length film POSTKIDS (40 min.), focusing on auteur cinema/feature film directing at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. In 2021, POSTKIDS celebrated its premiere at the 42nd Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival, won the First Steps Michael Ballhaus Prize in the same year, and was broadcast on ARTE in 2023. In 2019, his short film PANZERANNA was part of the Long Night of Short Films on WDR.
