Ervin Han
Ervin Han is a Singaporean director, screenwriter and producer, and co-founder of animation studio Robot Playground Media. Over the past two decades, he has created and produced acclaimed animated films and series for leading studios and platforms including Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery, Netflix and Mediacorp.
A four-time Asian Academy Creative Awards winner and recipient of the Asian Television Award and ContentAsia Award, Ervin is one of Southeast Asia’s leading animation filmmakers. His debut feature film, The Violinist (2026), premiered at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, where it won the Cristal for a Feature Film—the festival’s highest honour—as well as the SACEM Award for Best Original Soundtrack, becoming the first Singapore-led animated feature to receive the Cristal.

Raul Garcia
Raul Garcia is a Spanish director, animator, and illustrator with a long and distinguished career in the animation industry. He is best known as the first Spanish animator to work for Disney, where he contributed to some of the studio’s most iconic films, including Aladdin, The Lion King, Hercules, and Tarzan.
Following his years at Disney, García expanded his career as an independent director and producer, creating a number of acclaimed animated shorts, often inspired by classical literature. Among his most notable works is Extraordinary Tales (2015), an animated anthology based on the stories of Edgar Allan Poe.
His artistic versatility and passion for visual storytelling have led him to collaborate with studios across the globe and to experiment with diverse animation techniques. García is widely regarded as a leading figure in international animation. His latest feature, The Violinist, won the Annecy Cristal for Best Feature.
