The film is based on the market of the same name, one of the liveliest markets of Northeast India. Probably everybody knows what a market looks like. In Ïewduh, people from different communities and religions work together and coexist. With scars and colors and freshness and stench, this is the real world of Ïewduh, where fairy tales happen. The film is about everyday people, with everyday stories—not dignified as heroes, but nevertheless people who make the lives of each other better. In every market lane, there is an untold story: the struggle, the hope to give life not just to themselves, but also to those they love, those they care for. In Ïewduh, when reason ends, relationships begin.
