THE WAY YOU SHINE in the ORF TVthek

Evelyne Faye's documentary THE WAY YOU SHINE, which celebrated its German premiere at the 56th Hof International Film Festival in 2022 and was awarded the Franz Grabner Prize at the Diagonale in Graz the following year, is now available in Austria (only) on the ORF TVthek. 

The film accompanies four young people through their everyday lives. Four people who are full of life and have clear goals – finding work, becoming politically active, getting married, having children. Four people for whom achieving these goals is associated with many obstacles and who are often pigeonholed by society: People with Down syndrome. Inspired by her own daughter, who also has trisomy 21, Evelyne Faye captures their everyday lives on camera.
