NO ONE LIKE YOU by Maximilian Riemer wins the Audience Short Film Award of the City of Hof

    It was a neck-and-neck race on the shortest day of the year, the Short Film Day in Hof, where NO ONE LIKE YOU, directed by Maximilian Riemer, won the Audience Short Film Award of the City of Hof.

    During the 57th Hof International Film Festival and on HoF on Demand at plus7streamdays until 5 November 2023, the audience voted for their favorite short films from a total of 65 short films. The top five of the voting in alphabetical title order: RELEASE (director Eveline Schönefeld), THEO (director Sejad Ademaj), NO ONE LIKE YOU (director Maximilian Riemer), CRAZY BLOOD (director Can Tanyol) and INTERVAL (director Theresa Rehe) were presented in the Central Kino in the presence of many team members of the respective films by the Artistic Director of the HoF IFF Thorsten Schaumann.

    Afterwards, the Mayor of the City of Hof, Eva Döhla, and the Head of the Cultural Office, Peter Nürmberger, presented the Audience Short Film Award and the prize money of € 2,500 to the happy winner Max Riemer for NO ONE LIKE YOU.

    In the overall voting, THEO (director Sejad Ademaj) followed closely in second place, RELEASE (director Eveline Schönefeld) in third place, INTERVAL (director Theresa Rehe) in fourth place and CRAZY BLOOD (director Can Tanyol) in fifth place.
