Steadily we are on the road, preferably to the short film Rendezvous at the virtual Central Kino Hof on Saturday, 8 May 2021 at 8:00 pm. “On the road” is our motto for this cinema evening:

WOHIN by Andreas Meichsner: There is a war going on in Germany. Fabian and his family hide in a cellar. But when the war arrives there too, the family decides to flee. Fabian is accompanied by a diary, a gift from his big brother Marco, which will always remind him of the time before the war.
THE WALK by Michael Jung: For more than 15 years, the Arabian mare Jenny, now an Internet star, has wandered alone through Frankfurt-Fechenheim, every day. Werner’s path, buried as a four-year-old in Germany during World War II, is a reflection of life in post-war Germany. With the help of a horse, he has overcome the pain of memory. This is the story of Werner and Jenny.
We will be on the road with the directors after the screening at our film talk followed by an informal get-together. The HoF Rendezvous is free of charge. Of course, you are welcome to purchase a donation ticket with a freely selectable amount. All proceeds will go to the rights holders in equal parts. Since 2017, the Hof International Film Festival has organized the HoF Rendezvous under the motto “Let’s do it again” at the Central Kino in Hof and the Lodderbast in Hanover. These are screenings that show films of the Hof International Film Festival throughout the year. The filmmakers present their films in person. In this way, we let the festival linger and increase the anticipation for the next festival edition. At the same time, the makers are pushed once again through our communication.
