Tour Kick-Off of KING OF RAVENS

There were two royal visitors at the last Hof International Film Festival. In addition to King Bansah, the KING OF RAVENS also came. Piotr J. Lewandowski’s feature film is now going on a cinema tour and will open in theaters on Thursday, 19 August 2021: Darko, a young survival artist, lives illegally in Germany. He tries to keep himself and his sick mother afloat in the urban jungle until he risks losing himself in an amour fou with the mysterious Alina. Suddenly Darko’s entire existence and hope for a better life are at stake.

KING OF RAVENS “is a powerful drama about social outsiders” (fbw). Director Piotr J. Lewandowski shows us people struggling for happiness in a homeland where they never really arrive. Cinematographer Jan Prahl presents “dreamlike images in which you can feel the great power that the story carries, mixing the harshness of reality with the power of fantasy.” (fbw).
