Cinema release of ÉGALITÉ

Thursday, 13 January 2022 is once again cinema release day. And that also applies to Kida Khodr Ramadan's wonderful feature film ÉGALITÉ. Kida and his team celebrated the world premiere of the film at the 55th Hof International Film Festival:

14-year-old Leila wakes up blind after a seemingly harmless tonsil operation. Her father believes that the doctors botched the operation and, within the course of a few days, drifts into an emotional downward spiral. The family becomes increasingly estranged and Attila makes a momentous decision to uncover the truth.

Kida Khodr Ramadan directs a sensitive family drama that questions traditional oriental role structures. Off to the cinema!
